working principle:

Activated sand filter is a continuous filtration equipment integrating coagulation, clarification and filtration. The raw water to be treated enters the sand filter through the water distributor at the bottom of the filter through the inlet pipe. The water flows counter current through the filter bed from bottom to top, and the filtered filter liquid gathers at the top of the filter and flows out through the overflow port. In this process, SS and TP in the sewage are intercepted by the sand bed of the active sand filter.

The dirt intercepted at the bottom of the sand filter is lifted to the sand washer at the top of the filter, and the pollutants are separated from the filter material through turbulence. The impurities are discharged through the flushing water outlet, and the clean sand returns to the sand bed with its own weight, so as to realize continuous filtration.
